  1. Why you should register

  3. This software is not free - if, after a trial period of two weeks, you decide to keep it, you must register it. The fee for Disk Wizard is $10. Registered users of previous versions don't need to register again.

Registering gives you the right to use the software, including any future versions. Also, registered users with access to electronic mail will be sent new versions as soon as they are released. Unfortunately, I can't send disks or printed manuals because it would take too much of my time, which is better spent improving the software.

  7. Note that I did not turn Disk Wizard into crippleware: it is fully functional, which allows you to use it without waiting for a registration code. Please don't abuse it, remember to register.

I am now using a shareware registration service run by Kee Nethery <kee@kagi.com>.  The big advantage for you (and me) is that you can pay shareware fees with cash, a check, or your credit card (VISA, MasterCard and American Express). You also have the choice between mailing, faxing and emailing your order (of course fax & email don't work for checks and cash).

  20. For credit card payments, send the form via Email to shareware@kagi.com or by FAX to +1 510 652 6589.  Checks should be made out to “Kagi Shareware” and should be in US dollars.

Kagi Shareware only deals with registrations. If you want to talk to me, suggest enhancements, complain about bugs, etc. you should email me directly. You can use <pottier@kagi.com> as my address. It is a "mirror address" which should remain valid even if my actual address changes. My actual address is currently <pottier@dmi.ens.fr>.
